Our goals with this schedule are:

  1. Have fun.
  2. Finish requirements for Webelos badge by January.
  3. Earn a good number of compass points in the spring.
  4. Be well positioned for working on Order of Light next year.

Oct 10 & 11 - Hike and campout at Mt. Manadnock

bulletThis is Columbus Day weekend. We were thinking of going up Sunday, spending the night, and coming back Monday morning. That avoids conflicts with soccer games on Saturday. This is flexible, so let me know your thoughts. We need to get level of interest and book this quickly though - it's right around the corner. Assuming we go, we can work on a couple of activity badges on-site.

At home:

bullet During the fall, the kids should complete the Fitness Badge with their families.
bullet During the spring, the kids should complete the Traveler Badge with their families.

More notes. Some of these activities require the boys to do significant work before coming to the meeting. It's expected that the activity leader will send out an email ahead of time. The email should layout what the boys should do before the meeting, what's going to be accomplished at the meeting, and what will be left for them to do afterwards. Emails need to be sent far enough ahead of time that the boys can reasonably accomplish this.

Please send me any feedback you might have. Thanks,

Jerry
