Notes to parents and scouts:

• Please direct communications through Barbara Drinkwater.
• Please remember to follow scouting’s two deep leadership at all times such that I will need an adult volunteer present during each meeting scheduled.
• If any scout/family has special situations, I am more than happy to provide in-kind alternatives to the requirements listed.  For example, if your son is unable to safely participate in moving an ‘unconscious person’ (requirement 6b) I can provide an appropriate activity or discussion.  Just let either Barbara or myself know.

Proposed Schedule:

Tuesday January 29

6:45 – 7:15 Troop Meeting:

Introduction and planning.  Description of the roles, responsibilities and requirements for the scouts and explanations of the plan moving forward.  General review of the administration of the course and initial discussion of perquisites.

Distribution of paperwork etc.

Assignment of Requirements 1, 2(a-c), 3e, 3f and all of 5 (a-j) Due Feb 5^th

Assignment of Requirement 2d Due Feb 24^th

Please note this IS a lot of work this week.  You MUST complete 1, 2(a-c), 3e & 3f and you MUST at least show some progress on those in 5 to stay on track.

Tuesday February 5

6:00 – 7:15 Troop Meeting:

Review/signoff of Requirement 1, 2(a-c), 3e, 5(a-j)

CPR Training I -demo

Assignment of Requirements 3(a-d)  Due Feb 24th

Read ahead for Assignment 4 a, b and 6 a, b

(Reassignment of incomplete requirements Due Feb 24^th)

Sunday Feb 24th
