The below is the historical information that
launched this trip to aid future leaders...
We are planning an awesome overnight
at the New England Aquarium for March of 2010. As there are limited slots available
we must reserve them NOW!. There are actually two dates in
March we have reserved: March 13th and March 19th and plan to
split the pack a follows:
3/13/2010 (Was 3/12/2010-
but this was changed in November)
Tigers
Web I
3/19/2010
Webs II - Hart/Koski
Webs II - Yelle/Richardson
Wolfs
Bears
Note, there are very limited slots for
parents so dens must coordinate this amongst themselves. Tigers must have a one: one ratio, but other groups
should attempt a one parent: four cubs. Use your judgment
with your son, but in the end of the day we may have to
bump parents for boys if we run out of slots. This trip is
being coordinated by
Fiona.
The cost is $52
per person (non refundable-but transferable).Sign-up Below
Overnight includes:
Science experiments and squid dissections in the Harborside Learning Lab (see the
schedule for the night for details)
The chance to sleep in the Amazing Jellies exhibit (NOTE This detail is likely to change due to renovations being
planned at the Aquarium but would be replaced with something
cool we are told.)
Exploring the Aquarium before it opens to the public the
next morning
An evening snack and breakfast
Kids receive a New England Aquarium Overnight patch they
can wear to get into the Aquarium free of charge any day in
2010 (excluding visits with their school as a group).
Every participant receives one Simons IMAX Theatre ticket
good up for up to one year from the date of the overnight.
These passes are not valid on special presentations.
